This is the bush of the true tea from Asia. It is a nice-looking evergreen shrub with bold Camellia foliage and abundant white flowers. It is hard to make a high quality black tea at home but it is easy to make a great green tea out of the new leaves of this bush.
Carob trees are culivated throughout the Mediterranean. Fruits are highly nutritious: sweet, fibrous and juicy with a typical aroma reminiscent of chocolate. The ree itself is very ornamental too, with leathery glosssy dark green foliage.

This Fig cultivar is one of the most widespread on the Canary Islands. It is very productive and adaptable. Fruits have purple to dark red skin. Flesh is dark pink and very sweet. It is both eaten fresh or used for drying.
