Epitelantha micromeris

Very ornamental small cactus from the SW USA and Mexico, coated with white unharmful spines. It blooms in late winter with pale pink flowers that are soon followed by some very attractive frutis, which are dark pink, glossy and last for many months! It is a living golf ball with pink pins!

Epitelantha micromeris takes cold freezing temperatures if kept dry, but it grows well here too in the Canary Islands.
