Australian cycad. Widely distributed from Cape York south to Rockhampton, as well as on some offshore islands, and New Guinea. Leaves are glossy green below and yellow green beneath, with 45-50 pairs of segments. It has short spines on the rachis below the leaves, 5 to 7 each side. Old specimens may reach 3.0-3.5 m. We offer 7 years old specimens grown in 30 cm containers.
The size of this plant is: h= 50-60 cm - B= 3-4 cm.
