Se vi piacciono le piante esotiche, allora sei nel posto giusto. Canarius offre le piante esotiche difficile da trovare che sono raramente disponibili in centri di giardinaggio. Il nostro negozio ha specie naturali e rari ibridi. Offriamo piante esotiche provenienti dalle Isole Canarie.
Gli ordini sono inviati a ovunque in Europa e anche in tutto il mondo. I pacchi raggiungeranno la vostra casa in pochi giorni dopo la spedizione (ma abbiamo bisogno anche alcuni giorni per l'elaborazione). Non esitate a contattarci se avete domande.

I deserti del mondo e le zone secche ospitano le piante più interessanti. Canarius offre una selezione crescente di piante succulente di massima qualità, perché sono coltivate all'aperto, in pieno sole delle Isole Canarie.
I succulente o "piante grasse" sono specie di ritenzione di acqua, adattate alle condizioni di asciutto. Loro accumulano succum (succo, acqua) nelle loro foglie, steli o radici, e spesso mostrano un aspetto robusto e carnoso.
Le piante esotiche sono specie provenienti da altre parti del mondo, e di solito hanno le qualità ornamentali: una vegetazione lussureggiante, fiori colorati, forme insolite... Qui è possibile trovare una grande varietà di piante esotiche: da bromeliacee e Heliconias, fino a palme e piante d'appartamento.
Le piante esotiche non hanno un uso particolare. I collettori acquistano questo tipo di piante per la loro rarità, per la decorazione interna o esterna, a seconda delle loro caratteristiche.
Le piante da frutto, erbe e piante medicinale sono concentrati su come ottenere una salute migliore. This is the most beautiful and least known species in the genus Glottiphyllum. Few collectors grow it and no pictures in the web show the beauty of well-grown plants.
The "King of the Glotts" is said to be the largest of all the species in the genus Glottiphyllum. Leaves can get quite red when somehow stressed, It is easy to grow, and just as the rest of the genus Glottiphyllum it is chiefly winter-growing but it does not have a true resting season.
This is a very attractive compact and blue glotty. Leaves are short and waxy and can look blue to grey. The flowers are so large that they cover the whole rosette.
Real cotton! Commonly called "tree" cotton, Gossypium arboreum is a perennial species of cotton with beautiful flowers, native to India and neighbouring regions. It is a shrub that can easily set flowers and fruits in pots.
Short cotton shrub, with flowers which open white and turn pink at the end of their life. "Upland cotton" is a perennial shrub, often grown as an annual, attaining about 1 m in height.
Rooted rosette. This graptopetalum with jade-green leaves is so compact that it resembles a Sempervivum. It is native to Chihuahua , in Mexico and flowers in Winter. It branches very slowly and will eventually fill the pot and form a solid mat.

Two unrooted heads 8-10 cm. Popular Mexican species with glossy pointed leaves ranging from pale blue gray to yellow pink. Suitable for pots, hanging baskets and in rock gardens. It can withstand frost to -3 or much more if kept dry.
Spectacular dwarf selection of an everblooming Australian species. It makes a perfect flowering groundcover in sunny conditions but it is also great in rockeries or in pots as a fill-up plant. It originates in a harsh mediterranean climate and it is very adaptable ... let's say from -5 to 45C!
This plant looks just like an olive tree ! It is a large shrub in the Protea family, native to a small area in W Australia. The silvery foliage is attractive and showy orange-pink inflorescences in winter to spring. It is resistant to harsh Mediterranean conditions and can take frost, wind, salt and drought.
The crossberry is an interesting shrub or small tree native from Southern-Africa, with showy purple flowers in summer. Fruits are small and sweet, four-lobed (hence the common name crossberry). They ripen variably in yellow, orange or red. It is easy and adaptable, both frost- and drought-hardy.
