Synsepalum dulcificum - Miracle Fruit

The Miracle fruit is a small red fruit that makes most food taste different: all bitter or sour food like beer, olives or lemon will taste like sweetie sweets. It is not magic, it is not a drug for your brain. Synsepalum fruits just acts on your tongue, for one hour or so and will sure bring some fun to those who eat a miracle fruit. This shrub from Western Africa is easy to grow, but keep in mind: it is acid-loving and salt-sensitive.
