Quite stable variegated clone of the ever popular 'Dwarf Nam Wah', also known as 'Dwarf Pisang Awak'- Stripes occur in different width and tones. It is not a real dwarf. but a a semi-dwarf banana, with more-than-excellent fruits which are very popular in SE Asia and Australia.

It is quite stable... yes, but the price is not cheap because it is not too easy to produce one good variegated sucker. Both because variegates grow slower and because we often have to remove off plain-green and albino pups.

What do we ship?

We ship a stout sucker, cut from a field-grown banana tree, not a weak potted plant. You will receive it with the corm wrapped in a bag with moist sphagnum or perlite.

In winter or spring, suckers may not have roots. In this case, suckers are easy to root if temperatures are kept between 20 and 30 C.
