This grey-leaved form of the American Saw Palmetto is a beauty. It is a dwarf silvery palm that can fit in any garden. This hardy clumping palm takes some good frost to about -10 C as long as it is kept well drained and in a sunny spot.
It is not just a beautiful ornamental palm: serenoas are now in high demand because of their fruits, which are now used worldwide to treat prostate disorders.
We offer: One old branched specimen of the American Saw Palmetto. These plants have been potted for 10 years. They are mature and will bloom and set fruits quite soon, once planted in a good site.
