Xeric South African bulb from rocky areas in a very small area in the Little Karroo, between Calitzdorp and De Rust. Leaves are "hairy" and the bulb grows partly above soil giving that weird "caudiciform" look. Keep in full sun for better compact growth. It grows in the winter rainfall area, but it does not mind a bit of sprinkling in the warm season.
We will ship one adult bulb, often rooted, with some bulblets. It can be dormant or leafy according to the time of the year. In case it is growing, we may cut off some leaves for the shipment. We ship it worldwide.
