Majestic, "noble", silvery-blue palm native to the savannas of Madagascar. Fast growing large robust palm with fan-shaped leaves. Seedlings and young plants, often turn beautifully purple, especially in cooler temperatures. Bismarckia nobilis is tolerant of drought and a few degrees of frost but loves hot weather and needs a place in full sun.
