Existen numerosos árboles frutales dependiendo del clima donde se den o del tipo de fruto que produzca. Los frutales subtropicales son los más exóticos (toleran las zonas frías).
Cuentan con sabores exquisitos y son bastante nutritivos. En Canarius contamos con algunos ejemplos de árboles frutales subtropicales como: plátano Orinoco o Topocho, variedad de Níspero japonés, Chirimoya o Guayabo.

Grafted tree. Spanish cultivar with very large, smooth, juicy fruits of "Japanese loquat", with a pale colour. The perfect fruit tree for the home garden, with sweet and acid fruits and very ornamental foliage. Fully hardy to about -7 C but also survives to about -17 C.
This is the famous banana named Orinoco, Topocho or Bluggoe. Tolerant of wind, drought and cold. Fruits are very different from the common bananas from the supermarket.
Tall 16x30 cm pot - Gomera is a traditional Canarian strain of vigorous mango trees, producing rounded yellow fruits of small-medium size, with excellent flavour. This mango is hardier than most mango cultivars to drought and cold.
