This is a deciduous shrub which can self-sustain as a tree or behave as a liana, up to 15 m tall, depending on conditions. It bears exotic, large cream white flowers with unreal spiraling petals, which are red on their back. It is native to Eastern and Southern Africa.

This is a collectors' item, don't expect large-sized plants. Our specimens are strong but rather small, growing in 14-16 cm pots.
