Streptosolen jamesonii, the marmalade bush, is an evergreen shrub of the Solanaceae family that produces loose clusters of flowers gradually changing from yellow to red as they develop, resulting in an overall appearance resembling orange marmalade.

It grows outdoors in coastal Mediterranean climates, but it should be protected from frost.

It will eventually grow as a sprawling shrub, up to 2 m tall, but it can be trimmed back each year, in order to mantain a compact tidy shape, and it is often kept below 1 m.

We ship a robust, sun-grown plant, cultivated in a 14-18 cm pot, of variable height of 25-40 cm. This is a fast growing species and it is produced once or twice a year so the specimens can vary in size. We will always try to select a compact robust plant for you. We ship worldwide.
