Spectacular large non-climbing philodendron, with glossy textured leaves, 0,5-1 m long. It creeps very slowly , so it makes a huge rosette of leaves, which is a conversation piece for patios, conservatories or sheltered tropical gardens. It can climb slowly and it is found as an epiphyte from Costa Rica to Panama, on the Atlantic slope. It is commonly cultivated in pots or directly in the ground, when the climate is mild enough. It takes temperature ranging from 5 to 37 C with no stress. Optimal growth happens at 20-30 C.

We offer a 50-100 cm tall, robust rooted plant. Exact size is hard to tell as each plant is different and they grow fast, but you won't be disappointed. We only make a few per year and we offer these when the plant gets to a solid nice size. Grow it in high light (but not baking full sun) and a few leaves later the show will start!
