Very ornamental caudex-forming, flowering plant. it is a close relative of the sweet potato and its stems actually become vining if grown in wet or shady conditions. It stays shrubby when it is stunted by full sun or small pots. The plants we offer are nursery-grown, but the plant material originally came from Taita, in Kenya.
