Ficus microcarpa, also known as Ficus retusa nitida, is a tree from harsh areas of India which is found planted as a street tree throughout the warmer Mediterranean. It eventually becomes a large tree with little or no aerial roots, but it can be kept low and pruned as a shrub or hedge. It is also suitable for bonsai colture. This species grows well in cool weather too and stablished trees take a few degrees of short frosts.
All orders arriving after 2nd July will be shipped in September.
This is due to the high temperatures in the month of August and possible delays caused by general holidays and reduced opening hours by the customs service, carriers, etc.
