Succulent with cylindrical stems, tuberculate, with darker green markings, leaves are smooth, long and cylindrical, and they can last for months. It is tuberous-rooted! Kleinia patriciae is only known from a small area in Tanzania, on rocky slopes, at 1300-1800 m asl. This species was formerly named Senecio picticaulis ssp. patriciae
