Afterglow is one of the best hybrids ever made in the genus Echeveria. It is large, up to 30 cm in diameter with unreal colours spanning from mauve to orange. It was created in San Francisco, California by Don Worth who crossed Echeveria cante x E. shaviana. This clone thrives in cool conditions and dislikes baking hot summers in full sun. It also takes light frost, to -4 C. Leaves become wider with age. Blooms are incredible. With age it does not get tall and leggy, but it creeps, staying tidy for years.
