Both ornamental and useful, white turmeric is a deciduous ginger. It starts growth in April-June, with a very showy pink-white inflorescence, shooting up from the ground. Then it produces an outstanding ornamental foliage, up to about 1 m tall, lasting until oct-dec. When stems die back, it is time to gather the corms or they can be divided and kept in rather-dry ground. We ship a plant with roots and leaves or a good resting corm, depending on the season.
