This Crassula is one of the most colourful of all. When put out in full sun it turns on as a campfire. Leaves are lime-green when grown in shade. Another name used for this selection was 'Flame'.

It is probably a horticoltural selection of the Crassula capitella native to the Eastern Cape of South Africa, but some specialists also believe it derived from Crassula erosula. It prefers full sun and can withstand temperatures down to about -2º C with no damage.
