Ma'afala, or simply Maafala, is the best cultivar for familiar use. It is dwarf and bears small fruits of very good quality, of an average Weight of 0,8 kg. Lots of fruits! It starts bearing at just 3 m in height and stays  rather small for its whole life. Ma'afala fruits have few or no seeds inside, the flesh is creamy white in colour and turns yellow as you cook it... and they are soooo tasty!

Breadfruit trees in cultivation are tropical in requirements. Keep warm in winter, AT LEAST above 10 C. They grow well here in our place in Tenerife but they suffer when nights go down at 10-12 C. Do not try it outdoors in the warmer mediterranean.

We offer a stout well rooted plant from air-layering, with huge leaves. A hige plant! It will drop some or many leaves during shipping but do not worry, they come back, because it is a robust plant.
