Actinokentia divericata is a Slender New Caledonian palm, with few arching glossy leaves. New unfolding leaves are copper to red in colour, with colourful leaf stalks too. It is quite easy to grow but doubtlessly slow. It is one of the most widespread palm species on the island in New Caledonia. Actinokentia often grows under tall trees but it can take some full sun and different conditions. It is one of the few New Caledonian palms able to stand "cold and hot" and grows well in sheltered areas by the Mediterranean coast.
We offer young palms sown in 2014, grown in 14-16 cm pots. They are grown outdoors so they are not too large but very tough.
