Important medicinal and endangered climber in the Asclepiad branch of the Apocynaceae family, commonly called as “Antmool”. Tylophora bears graceful pink and cream flowers on green glossy foliage and it is native to Eastern and Southern India, where leaves and roots are is collected as a medicine for various diseases , thanks to its alkaloids which in part contain its name: tylophorine, tylophorinine, tylophorinidine.
