Beautiful Hawaiian palm with round, rigid and leathery leaves with no spines. Endemic to the dry forests on the island of Molokai, it is fast growing and adaptable to various conditions, resistant to wind and drought. It is a perfect garden plant, often compared to Washingtonia robusta for the ease of growth. This is one of the few pritchardias that does well out of the tropics and tolerates cool conditions and little frost. The size of this plant is: h= 40-60 cm - Cont. 12 cm. |
