Distinctive small palm, with a grey bottle-shaped trunk. Hyophorbe lagenicaulis has a waxy green crownshaft and elegant, arching pinnate leaves. An interesting and easy to grow palm which thrives in sunny, moist, but well drained conditions. Adapts well to container growth. It is damaged by frost. The size of this plant is: h= 20-40 cm - Cont. 12 cm. |
