Fast-growing palm, native to the rainforests of Eastern Australia. It has a ringed trunk, long crownshaft and green leaves. Inflorescence are particularly attractive, with pink and white hanging rachillae, followed by red bright rounded fruits. Archontophoenix alexandrae is an easy growing plant, tolerant of light frosts. It has the exotic beauty of tropical palms while it thrives outdoors in warm Mediterranean countries. The size of this plant is: h= 40-60 cm - Cont. 12 cm. |
