NOTICE: Dear customers, our webshop is currently closed, since we suspended the packing and shipping activity last summer. The nurseries are still working and producing new plants for the market. We are now making changes in our packing centre and we will hopefully restart in Spring 2012. Join us in Facebook in order to keep in touch.
Fruit Trees
The Canary Islands are a paradise for exotic fruits and we offer the largest selection in Europe of tropical fruit trees. Our plants are strong specimens ready to be planted outdoors or in large pots. Canarius ships many cultivars of mango, papaya, lychee and sugar cane and also the more uncommon species such as carambola, longan, noni.and the real cacao tree, Only the best varieties are propagated and grafted onto stronger rootstocks. Tropical fruit trees do better in warmer climates but many will thrive in mediterranean climates, where mango, avocado and lychee can survive light frosts and fruit regularly. Some species can grow further North.
If you like tropical fruits, do not forget to try our delicious jams, in the honeys & jams section, produced with the fruits grown locally in the Canary Islands.
