Large green Encephalartos, native to the highlands Zimbabwe and Mozambique, often around granite outcrops. Encephalartos manikensis is a robust large cycad with short petiols, green cones and red seed coats. It grows well in a wide range of conditions and it is fast in hot summer weather. It is highly endangered in habitat and protected with CITES. Our plants do have legal permits because seeds were collected from documented cultivated plants! The size of this plant is: h= 50-60 cm. Pot size is: 16 x 22 cm |
