Subtropical bromeliad, from SE Brazil. Billbergia distachia is known from the cool hills of Santa Catarina, it usually blooms two times a year. It is easy to grow and tolerates a wide range of conditions, some sunlight helps to keep plants tidy and compact. It grows well in cool, Northern conditions and can take light frosts, but it does better if protected. The size of this plant is: |
