Different bromeliad with wide, channeled leaves. Leaves are light green, speckled with different colours ranging from white to red or brown, varying through the different seasons. Some leaves can turn glossy and pink when the plant gets close to blooming. This is the nice "minor" form of Aechmea pectinata which is smaller, compact and better looking than the untidier larger form. |
