This is a canarian variety of the famous prickly pear or tuna fruit. It is a shrub-cactus from Mexico that produces delicious fruits and it is hardy to -5 C. Hardiness is substantially increased as long as full sun and drainage are provided. The size of this plant is: one 20-30 cm cutting (pad) of an adult stem that can fruit in just 12-18 months |
