This is a modern cultivar of banana, widespread in the Canary Islands. It is very productive and gives huge bunches. The banana is a "Cavendish" type. Plants achieve a size of 3-4 m (9-12 ft) and bear huge bunches. Musa Gruesa Palmera is a Triploid AAA. It is known in Spanish as Gruesa Palmera. |
